The Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency Measures Project for the Provinces Hosting Syrians under Temporary Protection (SuPT) is carried out in 11 provinces, 120 schools and 3 lands in total, with a total budget of 40 million Euros, through the European Union financing and the KfW Development Bank.
The project consists of three components: Rooftop Solar Power Plant (Rooftop SPP), Land Solar Power Plant (Land SPP) and Energy Efficiency Transformations. With the project, nearly 2,000,000 trees are prevented from being cut down, 20,250 tonnes of carbon emissions are prevented annually and a cleaner, greener and sustainable future is ensured for new generations.
With the project, it is aimed to provide the resources needed as a result of the increasing demand for education due to migration after the Syrian crisis in a sustainable manner through renewable energy and energy efficiency studies and to use the resources to be created with savings for new education investments.
