The project is implemented by the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate of Construction and Real Estate, through European Union (EU) financing and KfW (KfW Development Bank). The total budget of the project is 40.000.000 €. Within the scope of our project, we provide the energy needs of our schools from renewable sources with 8MW/h of Rooftop Solar Power Plants we have established on the roofs of 94 schools, 14MW/h of Land Solar Power Plants we have built in Adıyaman and Gaziantep, and a total of 20MW/h of installed power.
With the energy efficiency studies we have carried out in 41 school buildings, we achieve an annual energy saving of 25%. Thanks to our project, our schools meet their own energy needs and the savings are used in new educational investments. In this way, we provide a greener, cleaner and sustainable future for future generations.
