There are 220 school are under construction in 19 provinces within the scope of Education Infrastructure for Resilience and Education for All in Times of Crisis I & II Projects conducting by Ministry of National Education through German Development Bank and The World Bank with EU Financial Support. With the project started in 2017, the demand for educational services in priority provinces after the migration is planned to be met by the construction of new schools. In this contex with the aim of prompt action the prefabricated schools which are relativly faster to build, are preferred, thus the education demand in area is met proportionately.
The construction of our reinforced concrete schools, which have a longer construction time compared to prefabricated schools, continues at full speedCurrently, many reinforced concrete schools are planned to be completed for the 2019-2020 academic year. In order for our schools to meet with children, the works are continuing at full speed.
In the video, A Day of Muhammad, a small section of the life of the 11-year-old Muhammad, who is going to school in one of our project provinces, was attempted. The subject we emphasize in the video; Muhammad goes a long way on his way to school, the school is very crowded, so he can’t find a social space, and in the end, Mohammed goes to his new school with his friends, that he waited eagerly in summer vacation.
The film “Muhammad One Day”, which was broadcasted in the mainstream media for 4 days, took its place in the media as an indication that our new schools are ready for education and succeeded in conveying to the masses that our projects are now embodied.
As a project team, we will continue to work hard to ensure that all of our children like Muhammad can reach their new schools as soon as possible. Because education is the basic right of all children. Education for the future!
